Corto in Bra celebrates its new annual frequency with an open-air edition: Every evening, Bra’s courtyards and squares turn into the backdrop for the festival. A “prologue” is held in a neighborhood on the outskirts of town, earning very positive feedback and encouraging the organizers to repeat the event in future editions.
Holding the festival in the summer broadens its appeal to the public, creating interest even among many who are not familiar with arthouse cinema. Participation in the European Alcotra project “Projections Turistiche”, based on the relationship between tourism and culture, gives the festival the opportunity to set up the outdoor screenings, all with free admission, and to further promote the event, as well as creating new synergies with partners from the Festival Grandeur Nature in Queyras, France.
