Bob Geldof gets lost in the English countryside and finds himself at a celebrity lookalike competition, a thief is obliged to give his target driving lessons, an inveterate cynic’s only good action has terrible consequences a stolen video camera is left on and when its owner gets it back it brings him news about his daughter, a woman on the bus thinks she’s in an unpleasant situation but has no idea what’s to come, a young Moroccan man wants at all costs to make the dreams of his grandfather – in love with Switzerland and a famous Swiss skier – come true.
These are some of the stories that will be told at Cinema Corto in Bra 2009, during a special event dedicated to laughter, in keeping with the silly season.
The event will feature a special surprise guest.
In keeping with the festival’s traditions, there will also be an encounter between film and music, a homage to the masters of classic slapstick with a selection of short comic films accompanied by live music.
