Fredo Viola is a singer-songwriter, musician and multimedia artist who lives in New York. He has a degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and his debut album The Turn was released at the end of 2008 by the French label Because to an enthusiastic critical reception in the international press.
His songs – which he defines as “Beach Boys meets Sigur Rós” – have been featured on the soundtracks of The Manchurian Candidate (Jonathan Demme, 2004), Man About Town (Mike Binder, 2006) and Birds of America (Craig Lucas, 2008), as well the popular television series The O.C. and CSI Miami.
His unusual and highly original videos have found huge online success and can be seen on his personal website theturn.tv, together with his drawings and other graphic works. His performance in Bra, exclusively for Corto in Bra, will be his first and only Italian appearance to date.
