Competing for this year’s Zizzola d’Oro for best international short are 33 films from 14 countries. The most promising talents in world cinema have tackled pressing issues in widely differing styles, always offering an original point of view.
The jury will include Italian director Marco Bechis, responsible for Garage Olimpo, Figli/Hijos (Sons and Daughters) and La terra degli uomini rossi (Birdwatchers) among others; actress and model Elisa Sednaoui, originally from Bra and star of Christopher Thompson’s Bus Palladium; Lago Film Fest director Viviana Scarlet; and Gaëlle Milbeau, general delegate of the Aubagne International Film Festival.
