This classic Corto in Bra competition features the best Italian short films from the past year, showcasing the critical and irreverent outlook of the country’s up-and-coming filmmakers. Judging the 14 films in competition will be actor and director Rocco Papaleo, fresh from the success of Basilicata Coast to Coast; actor Ernesto Mahieux, the unforgettable star of Matteo Garrone’s L’Imbalsamatore (The Embalmer); Cisco Cenni, who wrote Lucio Pellegrini’s latest film, Figli delle stelle (Children of the Stars); and casting director Elisabetta Curcio.
